Maternity photography is all about celebrating the beauty of pregnancy allowing you to look back on just how beautiful you looked.

Pregnancy can be hard, stressful, and even seemingly impossible at times, but when you look down at your bump and imagine meeting your baby for the first time, you know it’s all worth it. And what better way is there to capture all the intricacies and nuances of pregnancy, than with a stylish maternity photoshoot.

Remember crying over the fact that you couldn’t fit into your jeans anymore, or having midnight delights, like ice-cream and pickles? Well, in case someone told you that pregnancy was going to be easy, spoiler alert, it’s not!

Yet, between the aching back and morning sickness, the excitement and anticipation finally gets to you. Beautiful changes occur to your pregnant body, and you suddenly want to preserve all the little things about pregnancy, because no matter how hard it may be, there is not enough words to explain the joy of creation.

When you are ready to book a pregnancy photoshoot, keep in mind that the ideal time for a shoot is between 27 and 36 weeks into pregnancy. In case of twins, it is best to book on the early side, between 27 and 30 weeks. In this time frame, your bump is magnificent and round, and you are still physically capable.

Choosing between an in-studio pregnancy photoshoot or on-location maternity shoot can be difficult as they are equally beautiful in their own way. Depending on your tastes, a pregnancy studio shoot is generally more structured and set up, whereas the on-location maternity shoot can vary between structured and lifestyle.

Maternity Photoshoot in Gerrards Cross studio- black & white nudes only- Mini Shoot

This maternity photoshoot package is a mini shoot for local pregnant mums in Buckinghamshire who would like to capture a few natural black and white nude photographs with their bumps.

Images with be photographed using a black backdrop and a lightbox to create silhouettes. This is a mum and bump only session and is vailable on Mondays starting at 11:30am in my Gerrards Cross studio. Spaces do get booked up quickly so to avoid disappointment, please do book in advance.

WHAT DOES IT INCLUDE?

• 30min-1 hour studio session with mum only in Gerrards cross

• STUDIO LIGHTING and black backdrop for creative/nude images

• online gallery to choose your favourite 6 images

• 6 black and white nude images, retouched and sent to you via wetransfer

MONDAY MATERNITY PHOTOSHOOT IN GERRARDS CROSS STUDIO £399

Additional images are £40 each

• 15 high resolution retouched jpegs on USB in both colour and black & white

This materity package is photographed in my private studio in Gerrards Cross. Partners are welcome to this session and can be included in some of the photographs.
