Welcoming a newborn into the family is one of the most exciting chapters in your life; seeing the unconditional, instint love in everyone’s eyes; it is powerful; it’s eternal. When two people love each other so much, only a miracle can sparkle inside bringing you an even greater bond. I love to capture family photographs which you can look back on, remember and to share with extended family. Grandparents, above all other gifts, cherish a family photograph which will quickly be framed and take pride of place in their home. I take family photographs of both parents with thier newborn in every session. Please don’t forget to book an extra hour with me if you have more than one child so that I can take that extra time to get some full family and sibling photos. Newborn photoshoots can take place in my Gerrards Cross home studio or in the comfort of your own home.

Can we have a session within our home or do we need to come to your studio?

Yes, Newborn photoshoots in London homes are very popular. I understand that some families might not want to drive to Buckinghamshire in the first few weeks and would prefer me to come to their home; I offer home sessions within Buckinghamshire and London. I am happy to drive to you and set up a mini studio within your living room or a space you feel would work for your newborn photoshoot. Studio lighting will be set up and a selection of headbands, newborn wraps and stretch blankets will be offered on the day. Before your session, we can have a telephone conversation and discuss how the day will work and see where is best to set up for your newborn shoot. In the time I am with your family, natural newborn photographs will be covered using a bean bag and different blankets as well as prop photographs if this is something you are interested in. We will also have time to do family photographs and photographs with each parent and your baby.

Can my other children be apart of the Newborn Photography shoot?

Yes, sibling photographs are my favourite and literally melt my heart. Young children might be a little overwhelmed when they first meet me and not understand what we are trying to accomplish so a Sibling Hour would need to be purchased. This hour allows for some extra time for your child to settle down, get use to the lighting and photographer. Afterwards I will guide your child/ children into sibling poses that work depending on their ages and we can get some family photographs at the same time.
