Newborn Photoshoot within a London Home
Families from around the world come to the United Kingdom to have their babies delivered by top obstetricians.
With London having some of the top obstetricians in the world, it is not surprising that people from around the world fly here to have their babies at The Portland Hospital.
This family from Hong Kong called me and asked me to come to their home in Central London to take photographs of their 1-week-old newborn son before they returned home. This was a special occasion for them and an exciting time to be within the United Kingdom. Before the day of their newborn shoot, we had a telephone consultation and discussed the style of newborn photography which they were drawn too on my website. We selected a few props and discussed natural poses which they liked.
On the day of their newborn shoot, I drove to Central London and brought everything needed to set up a small mini studio. With newborn photography, I don’t require a lot of space, I just need space for a small white backdrop, beanbag and a large studio light. This is what I use for most of my At Home Newborn Photoshoots.
To remember and celebrate the UK by having a baby in London, we dressed their baby in the cutest British guard outfit! On the day we took a variety of photographs of both parents with their newborn as well as family with their newborn photographs and individual images of their gorgeous baby boy.
After the shoot, my client was thrilled with their final retouched photographs and gave me a wonderful google review;
