In each newborn photography session, I encourage individual photographs of each parent with their baby. These family photographs are especially treasured by your child in years to come; a symbol of perpetual love. Take a moment to get close to your baby in your newborn photoshoot. Gently touch their soft skin, steal a kiss or two while I capture your love in my Gerrards Cross studio. Please don’t feel shy or nerveous, with over 18 years of experience in the portrait industry, I promise to pose you so that you look your best. These parent photographs are important and I will make sure I get the best of you in every photograph while showing your unconditional love.

Do you offer Newborn Photoshoots within London homes?

Yes, Newborn Photoshoots are popular for familes who would like to have a newborn shoot in the comfort of their home. Since my studio is based in Gerrards Cross Buckinghamshire, I understand that some parents might not want to drive in the first few weeks and would prefer me to come to their home; I offer home photography shoots within Buckinghamshire and Central London. I am happy to drive to your London home and set up a mini studio within your living room or a space you feel would work for the photoshoot. On the day of your home session, I will offer my natural newborn style as well as a selection of natural wooden props and baskets. Studio lighting will be set up and a selection of headbands, newborn wraps and stretch blankets will be offered on the day.

If we use props in our newborn photoshoot, will there still be time to include family pictures?

Yes definitely, all my baby photography packages In Buckinghamshire and London will include images of your baby as well as family pictures and photographs with each parent. This will create a collection of photographs which are perfect for albums, wall frames or can be used as gifts for family and friends.

Do I need to provide any props or blankets for my newborn on the day of their photoshoot?

If you have a special blanket or toy you would like to include into your newborn shoot, you are most welcome to show me on the day and I will be happy to include it. If you don’t have anything, sit back and relax, I will make sure I have everything needed on the day to create the cutest baby pictures. Before your baby shoot, I will discuss which are your favourite props and colours and have them ready for you on the day.

Can my other children attend the Newborn Photography shoot?

Yes, sibling photographs are my favourite and literally melt my heart. Young children might be a little overwhelmed when they first meet me and not understand what we are trying to accomplish so a Sibling Hour would need to be purchased. This hour allows for some extra time for your child to settle down, get use to the lighting and photographer. Afterwards I will guide your child/ children into sibling poses that work depending on their ages and we can get some family photographs at the same time.

Will we have enough time to take individual family photographs?

I offer different baby packages depending on what you would like to achieve on the day. Smaller packages have less time but I will always try to take an individual parent and baby photograph as these are the most treasured. If you would like a variety of posed with your baby, I would suggest going for a larger package where we have more time to be creative and do more baby photography poses.
