Hi, I am Natasha and I offer newborn photoshoots and baby photoshoots to families across Buckinghamshire including Slough. With over 19 years experience, I have photographed hundreds of newborn babies and captured magical chapters for so many families. How old does my baby need to be when I bring them from Slough for their Newborn Photoshoot?
The best time for a baby to have a newborn photoshoot is between 1- 3 weeks old. When booking your newborn package, I will pencil in a date 2 weeks after your due date. Closer to due date, I will check in and make sure all is going as planned and see if you and baby are both well. If your baby has not yet arrived when I contact you I will happily reschedule the date of your newborn photoshoot and we can pencil in a new date. I choose to photograph only a few babies a month to make sure I am flexible and that I have the space for everyone who has purchased a newborn package with me. Once your baby is born, you or your partner can let me know that everyone is well and then we can confirm the date.
Do you offer parking outside your studio?
My studio is home based and has lots of private parking on the drive. You are welcome to park your car right outside and come straight inside with your baby.
Why is your studio at your home?
I have always offered a home based studio for my newborn photoshoots as babies come to me at such a young age and some families feel nervous to go out in the first few weeks. I like to offer and home from home environment. Next to my studio space I have comfortable sofa’s where you can feed your baby and you feel relaxed. I will also have everything we need at hand like coffee or hot water if you need to warm up milk or simply a nice TV if you bring a sibling and they get bored; I want everyone to feel relaxed. The feedback I have always received is that families feel more comfortable being in a home then going to a commercial shop front with their babies.
Do you offer Newborn Photography within my home in Slough?
Yes, Natural Newborn Photoshoots are popular for parents who would like to have a baby shoot in the comfort of their home. Since my studio is based in Gerrards Cross Buckinghamshire, I understand that some families might not want to drive in the first few weeks and would prefer me to come to their home in Slough; I offer home sessions within Buckinghamshire and London. I am happy to drive to you and set up a mini studio within your living room or a space you feel would work for the photoshoot. My natural newborn style is simple and baby focused. Studio lighting will be set up and a selection of headbands, newborn wraps and stretch blankets will be offered on the day.
Will Natural Newborn Photoshoots in Slough still include family pictures?
Yes definitely, all my newborn photography shoot will include images of your baby as well as family pictures and photographs with each parent. This will create a collection of photographs which are perfect for albums, wall frames or can be used given as gifts to family and friends.
Do I need to provide any blankets or props for my baby on the day of their photoshoot?
If you have a special blanket or toy you would like to include into your baby session, you are most welcome to show me on the day and I will be happy to include it. If you don’t have anything, sit back and relax, I will make sure I have everything needed on the day to create the cutest baby pictures. If you would like some newborn images with props, I will be happy to show you the selection I have.
Can my other children attend the Newborn Photography shoot in Slough?
Yes, sibling photographs are my favourite and literally melt my heart. Young children might be a little overwhelmed when they first meet me and not understand what we are trying to accomplish so a Sibling Hour would need to be purchased. This hour allows for some extra time for your child to settle down, get use to the lighting and photographer. Afterwards I will guide your child/ children into sibling poses that work depending on their ages and we can get some family photographs at the same time.
Does my child have to be naked for the Natural Newborn Photoshoot?
No, your baby does not need to be naked. I will provide a selection of pants and wraps which we can use over their nappy to protect them from accidents. The pants I provide are simple and designed to fit your baby tightly so that they are not baggy, and you still capture your baby naturally. These pants can be kept on during the blanket poses and in props where you will not see the pants. If you would like your baby to be naked in some of the photos, there will be a time when we can do these natural naked photographs during your session. If you would like to buy some of your own simple pants for the day, I usually buy my newborn pants from a cute baby shop called Newbie.
I am a first time mother and have never had a studio photoshoot before, do I need to prepare for the day?
There are a few tips to help prepare your baby for the day and a guide on what to bring to your newborn shoot but with regards to you preparing for the day, no you do not need to do anything before unless you want to bring something to the session. I will have everything ready and set up for you. I have all the blankets, wraps, headbands and props for babies up to 4 weeks of age. On the day of your photoshoot, I will guide you and your partner and pose your baby. I am here to make you feel beautiful and make sure I photograph you in the most complementary way.
What happens after my newborn photoshoot in Slough?
After your newborn shoot, I would have taken lots of photographs. I will need a few days to go through all your images and select all the best ones for you to view. I will then send you a link so that you can choose which photographs are your favourite and those I will retouch for you in high resolution. If you would like more photographs than your package offers, you can upgrade or buy more through the website. I am also happy to chat and go through your newborn photographs with you if you feel you would like my advice when choosing. I am available to guide you with suggestions on how to create art for your wall.
Do you offer frames for the wall?
Yes, I have a gorgeous selection of frames and products. I use the best labs in the country with high quality products and will be happy to help you create something special for your home. With my professional experience, I will quality control the whole process of your order from print stage to finishing touches to make sure we create pieces of art for your home. Products can be delivered straight to your door or you can collect from my studio.
