Pregnancy is such a unique time in your life, one worth recording with beautiful photographs.

I know pregnancy isn’t all fun and smooth sailing, but the memory of being pregnant is fleeting once your newborn arrives, and it’s so incredible to reflect on how you looked and felt when your body was performing a miracle – it’s hard to recall.

My maternity sessions are very casual and natural and can be held in your own home, outdoors in the park of your choice or in my Gerrards Cross studio.

I recommend shooting when you’re 32-36 weeks pregnant.

I offer beautiful black and white nudes as well as couple shots and fun natural images enjoying your glowing bump.

Maternity Photography

My maternity photography sessions are very casual and natural and are mostly held in the mornings or sunset if on location. I recommend shooting when you’re 32-34 weeks pregnant and can photograph wherever is special to you.

My booking process is super easy, just like my shoots. All you need to do is choose a package which suits you and your partner and pay a £100 deposit. The balance will only be due a day before your pregnancy photoshoot. We will then discuss everything before the day via a telephone conversation and on email, where you’d like to shoot and the style you’re after.

For maternity photoshoots, I recommend photos taken at 32-34 weeks pregnant, please sent me an email to book a date.

For outdoor maternity shoots, I book a date but keep this date and time flexible. I will keep an eye on the weather in case it shows rain so it’s best to keep the whole day free so we can be flexible with timing.

I will be in touch to discuss ideas for the shoot as well as a location, via email or phone. Feel free to ask any questions as we go through the process. Knowing what you’d like from your photographs, and how you may use and present them – a print, frame or just digital photos to share, ahead of time is really helpful so we create photos you really love.

Editing your pregnancy photography

Your photographs will be lovingly edited. I spend a great deal of care editing each photograph – creating both a colour and black and white version of each image. The hours spent in post-production result in a series of striking images that will work well together as a series, or that can be printed or framed individually.
