Two Beautiful Mothers - Maternity Photoshoot
Lesbian Maternity Photoshoot Buckinghamshire
I remember the day I received a call from 2 excited ladies, they were about to both become mummies and wanted me to document this incredible journey for them. Firstly, we would document their undying love they shared and the utter excitement of having a baby together by having a maternity photoshoot. Together we came up with venue ideas and clothing choices.
The sun was shining brightly for us as we headed to Clivedon National Trust in Taplow, Berkshire. We chose this venue as it is known for its’ spectacular grounds and architecture and never fails to disappoint.
Maternity photoshoots on locations will give you a very different feel to studio photography. Shooting outdoors gives you a natural look and a feeling of spontaneity which is perfect for a lesbian couple photography shoot.
By 12 noon, the sun was high in the sky so we decided to head back to my cosy home studio in Gerrards Cross where we could use studio lighting.
I absolutely love outdoor maternity photography but when the sun is high in the sky with no clouds, it can be tricky with harsh shadows. This is where studio works well, it is definitely a reliable backup. One amazing thing about studio lighting is the ability to allow photographers to be creative and have more control. I love that I can place my lighting where I want and create images which are impactful.
Being lesbian means only one of you can hold a baby yet both woman are equally going to be mummies so I wanted to create a few maternity photographs which highlighted the unity and bond the three of them have. I love this black and white maternity nude. It shouts out STRENGTH!
