About me and my style of photography

My photography is my passion, it is not a simple process for me, it is my art.

Everyday I feel blessed to be a photographer.

When did I start photography?

I started my career working for a ‘high end’ international portrait company called Venture as a family and children photographer and later, after winning their Photographer of the Year award in 2007, I went on to teach photography. One of my main roles was to train photographers and teach the principles and techniques of photography to allow my students to photograph confidently and achieve their diploma course within the company.

In 2008 I established my own limited company which I successfully run and I have a client base from across London for portrait photography.

My view on photography

I am happiest when I have a camera in my hand and can capture each moment of pure joy, fun abandon and love that is so evident on our faces when we are with the ones we love. I love meeting new families, getting to know them and for a short while I become a part of their lives and experience.

I am a perfectionist in my work, and retouch all my photography to the highest standard. The most satisfying and delightful moment for me is when I receive the finished products and when I present them to my clients and see the look on their faces.

A little about me

My daughter, Reece, is my life. Her smiles and giggles light up the room and as her mom I get to capture every moment of her growing up – this is why photography is so important for me, I get to stop time and produce an image I can treasure forever. Having Reece changed my perspective to my work, I became incredibly drawn to newborn photography and so attended an intense American training course where my newborn photography naturally evolved into an organic, pure, warm, creative style.

Newborn photography

I believe the smallest feet leave the biggest footprints on our heart, and what better way to remember your bundle of joy’s first days than an exquisite newborn photograph. I enjoy capturing the special bond between parents, babies and their siblings in photography that reflects the essence of never-ending love.

Maternity photography

Having been pregnant myself in the past, I understand how important this time is for a woman. There may not be another chance to reshoot your bump so I need to create a beautiful artwork that conveys this amazing and life altering moment in your life. I ensure to capture your bump in the most flattering and beautiful way possible.

My studio

My home based studio in West London is somewhere to relax and smile, and when I have a family in, I can become a big child myself! My ethos is to capture the essence of fun and by photographing your children doing things which they enjoy and in a place they’re comfortable in, the images are natural and evocative. I have different lighting options to suit the mood we are creating, and if any of your family members would like to try something a little more ‘arty’ we can create an image that is more innovative and original. This style is particularly sought after by older children and teenagers.

Location photography

I offer location photography shoots across the London area (Notting hill, Kensington, Chelsea, Richmond, Kew, Chiswick, Ealing, Twickenham, Ham, East Sheen, Knightbridge, Fulham, Putney, Wandsworth, Wimbledon, Hammersmith) and my favourite shoots are when we are lost in the moment in nature, and our children enchant us with the discovery of a new little treasure that is always around us, but that we so often miss.

My work can be found in the top magazine, Angels and Urchins Magazine and the front cover of Rascals of London magazine, and I was voted one of the Top 20 Portrait Photographers by West London Mum.

The combination of love for what I do, commitment to providing absolute quality and completely understanding your expectations results in beautiful artwork that needs excellent framing, so I offer a wide selection of frames to perfectly suit your living space. My ultimate goal is to ensure that when you look at your art, you remember not only that moment, but the emotions behind the smiles; the love, laughter and ethereal bonds that join you and make you a family.

We worry about what a child will become tomorrow, yet we forget that he is someone today. ~Stacia Tauscher
